The flight was from Kuala Lumpur to Narita by Vietnam Airlines.
I have made connecting flight at Tansonnhat Airport, so I’ll show you how to transfer and spend time in the airport.
For your information, I have received the two boarding passes to Tansonnhat and to Narita.
Arrival at Tansonnhat Airport
When you get off the airplain, 2 buses will be waiting for the passengers.
You will get on the shuttle bus to the airport building. I think the bus will be crowded, but the transfer would only take a little while.
After you get to the airport building, go up the escalator and walk towards the transfer counter.
Walk continuously towards where you will see a direction board that has “TRANSFER COUNTER” written on it.
Enter the gate at the back right corner of transfer counter.
Show your boarding pass and go through the security check.
When you go up the escalator in front of you, there will be a hallway on your left side. This is the departure hall, 3rd floor.
If you turn left or turn right, you can find the boards that has flight schedule displayed on it .
This floor has souvenir shops, small restaurants and airport lounges.
We are fortunate that the lounges and some shops were open from early morning to late at night.
The prices were a little expensive and the prices shown in the menus were in US dollars.
If you go up the escalator to the 4th floor,
you can eat at a hamburger shop or other restaurants.
Stay late at night
You can stay comfortably here over night on the 3rd floor.
If you turn left and walk to the back, you will find many seats, benches and couches.
Turn right, there will also be many seats and couches.
I felt comfortable in this airport.
The temperature is just right, not cold nor hot so I could sleep and rest well.
If you have a lot of time untill your connecting flight, I think you can spend the time relaxing in here.
Have a nice flight!
